HEADS UP: HOLIDAY SAFETY

THE HOLIDAYS AND THE CHRISTMAS SEASON ARE A TIME OF JOY, FESTIVITIES, THANKSGIVING, AND FAMILY GET TOGETHERS. HERE ARE SOME “FOOD FOR THOUGHT” IDEAS THAT CAN HELP KEEP YOU AND YOUR FAMILY SAFE DURING THIS JOYOUS SEASON.

1. KEEP YOUR TREE WATERED IF IT IS A FRESH CUT TREE.. THIS WILL   HELP KEEP IT FROM DRYING OUT TOO SOON.

2. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CURTAINS OPEN SO AS TO SHOW OFF PRESENTS UNDER THE TREE.

3. BE SURE TO TELL THE KIDS NOT TO OPEN THE DOOR TO STRANGERS AND TOO LET YOU KNOW IF THEY SEE ANYTHING SUSPICIOUS.                   4. DESIGNATE SOMEONE TO TURN OFF THE CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTS AT NIGHT.

5. WHEN GOING OUT SHOPPING ONLY TAKE THE CASH AND/OR CREDIT CARDS NECESSARY.

6. A SMALL CLUTCH CAN BE CARRIED IN THE FRONT POCKET OF A COAT INSTEAD OF LUGGING A LARGE PURSE.

7. ALWAYS TAKE A MINUTE OR SO TO CHECK OUT PARKING LOTS AND PARKING STRUCTURES BEFORE GOING TO YOUR CAR.

8. EVERYONE SHOULD CARRY SOME FORM OF SELF DEFENSE PRODUCT WITH THEM AT ALL TIMES. PEPPER SPRAY, STUNGUN, KUBATAN, ETC. AND BE PREPARED TO USE THEM SHOULD THE NEED ARISE.

9. I CANNOT OVERSTATE THE IMPORTANCE OF HAVING A DESIGNATED MEETING SPOT IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY, (EARTHQUAKE, ARMED INTRUDER, FIRE,) ETC.

THE EMERGIREADY COMPANY (EMERGIREADY.NET) WOULD LIKE TO WISH EVERYONE A JOYOUS AND HAPPPY HOLIDAY.  MERRY CHRISTMAS.
